Puregold Price Club Inc. reported P137.8 billion in gross revenues in 2024, according to a third-party report.
Puregold Price Club Inc. president Ferdinand Vincent Co noted Puregold’s dominance in the supermarket industry.
“Reaching P137.8 billion in gross revenues is a milestone that reflects the trust of our customers and the hard work of our entire team. This achievement inspires us to keep innovating, improving efficiency, and delivering value to our customers, partners, and shareholders,” he said in a statement.
The company operates over 600 sites including Puregold Stores, S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses and S&R New York Style Pizza outlets.
The company’s extensive footprint has been a key driver of revenue, supported by programs that truly benefits customers.
Initiatives like “Mas Pinababang Presyo Araw-Araw,” “Hakot Every 1,” and the Tindahan Ni Aling Puring (TNAP) loyalty program for micro-entrepreneurs have played a significant role in sustaining customer trust and driving sales growth.
The company posted a consolidated net income of P6.9 billion in the first nine months of 2024, up 4.5 percent year-on-year.
Same-store sales growth contributed to its performance, with Puregold Stores achieving a 3.5-percent increase and S&R Warehouse Clubs posting a 4.1 percent gain.
Despite inflationary pressures that tempered revenue growth among the country’s largest corporations to 7.2 percent in 2023, Puregold’s ability to maintain its upward trajectory highlights its strong fundamentals and strategic focus, the company said.
